brilliant scene
I lived "Almost Famous". ————————-WolfSky9, 71 y/o
I borrowed the dvd of Almost Famous to a friend and left her a note inside the dvd case, telling her not to read it untill she watched it all. The next day she came to me at university praising the film and then said 'the first thing I wanted to know when the film was over was what was the name of the song what everyone sings when he gets on the bus? It's beautiful!' ……We both laughed because right after she opened my note it read …..'the song when they get on the bus is Tiny Dancer by Elton John! Xx'
Brilliant filmmaking!
this was the best spot in the movie singing on the bus
this is why Elton is the Greatest !
this is Amazing !
I love LoVe LOVE this movie; and this scene is one of many that made it wonderful!
So, no one noticed that that camera was focussed on the trees instead of on Cameron? The whole time?
I'm not a fan of Tiny dancer hat much either and I'm not a punk fan. I never really liked that scene. I do like Madman Across the Water though. It's a great song especially the version from that album. It's longer and heavier.
Wow, I must admit I was blown away by this scene in the movie, because, yes, this song is awesome to me, to the point of being a landmark of my youth even… musically, emotionally. This song stands out in so many ways, but above all as an unbelievable musical footage…
Thanks for this clip, Elton 🙂
My future sister in law lent me the Madman across the Water 8 track back in 73 and I fell in love with Elton's music and the piano. Ironically, Elton mentioned in the past, that this album was not a favorite, but it is by his fans…
